The Amanda Award:
The Amanda Award recognizes middle and high school librarians for developing programs that enhance and support the self-esteem and well-being of young adults by creating exemplary environments in which students are made to feel that they fit in and that they are part of the school. The recipient of the award will receive a cash prize (determined at a later date) and a trophy presented at FAME's annual conference for their efforts to build resilience in students.
