FAME Committees
Fame activities are managed by a number of organizational committees. Members are encouraged to become involved with the association on a local, regional or state level. A prerequisite to serving on the FAME Board of Directors is serving on a FAME committee, so become involved today!
Please read the brief descriptions of the seventeen FAME committees. Feel free to contact the committee chair to find out more about the committee by clicking on his or her photo. If you are interested in serving on a committee, complete the form below indicating that you would like to participate. New committee members form most committees are appointed by the FAME President immediately following the Annual Conference. SSYRA, SSYRA Jr., FTR, and Legislative committees are appointed by the FAME President-Elect in the spring.
Concerned about the time commitment? Some committees meet once or twice a year in person or at Annual Conference while most committees conduct business via email, telephone conference or web meeting. Be a part of our growth; fill out the committee interest form on the Leadership homepage or scroll down to the bottom of this page after reviewing the committees for the link to the committee interest form.
